Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a short-term form of therapy that focuses on adult relationships and attachment / bonding. The therapist and clients look at patterns in the relationship and take steps to create a more secure bond and develop more trust to move the relationship in a healthier, more positive direction.


Family and Couples therapy is a type of psychotherapy focused on helping a couple work through challenges, understand their relationship better, and develop healthier ways of relating to one another. The therapist uses specific therapeutic techniques and interventions to support the couple's goals.

Many couples come to couples therapy because they're dealing with a specific challenge, such as communication issues, difficulties, affairs, or considering a breakup.
